Biography

I build, deploy, and evaluate AI for real business problems.

My research focuses on building innovative language models and deploying them to solve problems in financial markets, supply chain management, education, and human development. My most recent research projects include (1) leading a research collaboration with Google to build agentic AI platforms deployed across 30+ universities, (2) conducting large-scale field experiments evaluating AI's impact on human-AI teams in emerging markets and (3) assessing AI's ability to simulate objective and biased human behaviors.
